This explains what personal information FigForge collects, why, and what we do with it. In short: we only use your details to get your order to you, and we never sell them.
Who we are
FigForge is a UK online shop run by Ryan Smith, based at 15 Hermes Way, Sleaford, NG34 7WH. We're the "controller" of your data under UK data protection law (UK GDPR). Contact us any time at celyun50@gmail.com.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email address, delivery address and what you bought. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card details.
- When you ask about a custom figure: your name, email and the details you send us.
- When you browse: your basket is saved in your own browser so it's still there if you come back. We use cookie-free visitor statistics (Vercel Web Analytics) that count page visits without identifying you.
Why we use it
- To take payment, post your order and handle any returns or questions — needed to carry out our contract with you.
- To keep sales records for tax and accounting — a legal requirement.
- We don't send marketing emails unless you've asked us to.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to run the shop: Stripe (payments), Royal Mail (delivery — your name and address), Vercel (website hosting) and, for custom-order requests, our form provider. They only use your data to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for 6 years to meet UK tax rules, then deleted. Custom-order enquiries that don't lead to an order are deleted after 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted (where we don't need to keep it by law). Just email celyun50@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
